Terms and Conditions

SECL Terms & Conditions

  1. Registration is valid only after successful online submission and payment of the applicable fee.
  2. SECL reserves the right to change the venue, date, schedule, trial format, match format, eligibility criteria, registration fees, league fees, or any program details at any time without prior notice.
  3. Participation in SECL Trials, League Matches, Camps, or any SECL event does not guarantee selection for the next stage.
  4. Selection is based solely on a player's performance, skill, discipline, potential, and the decision of the SECL Selection Committee.
  5. All registration fees, trial fees, league fees, and any other payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly approved by SECL.
  6. If a player is absent from a scheduled Trial, League Match, Camp, or any SECL event, SECL is not obligated to provide a second chance or reschedule the participation.
  7. The trial format, number of balls, venue, practice conditions, and pitch type may vary depending on the event and management requirements.
  8. Players must carry valid identity proof, age proof, and registration confirmation on the day of the event.
  9. Any false information, incorrect age declaration, or forged documents may result in immediate cancellation of registration or selection without any refund.
  10. Players must follow all instructions issued by SECL Management, Coaches, Umpires, Officials, and Event Staff.
  11. Any parent, guardian, or representative who argues with, threatens, abuses, or interferes with SECL Management, Coaches, Umpires, Officials, or attempts to disrupt or stop a Trial or Match may lead to the immediate disqualification of the player and further action by SECL.
  12. Alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drugs, or any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited at the venue.
  13. Players participate in SECL Trials, Camps, and Matches entirely at their own risk.
  14. SECL, its management, coaches, officials, organizers, or partners shall not be responsible for any injury, illness, accident, loss, damage, or medical expenses arising during participation, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
  15. Every player is responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate in cricket activities.
  16. Progression to Selection League Matches, ODI Matches, Camps, National League, or any higher stage will depend solely on performance and SECL's evaluation process.
  17. Sponsorships, scholarships, academy support, cricket kits, equipment support, diet and gym support, annual league fee support, job opportunities, or any other benefits are merit-based, subject to player grading, availability, and SECL policy. They are not guaranteed to every participant.
  18. SECL reserves the right to use players' photographs, videos, match footage, interviews, and related content for promotional, educational, marketing, social media, website, and official purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by applicable law.
  19. Any misconduct, cheating, indiscipline, violence, abusive behavior, or actions that damage the reputation or operations of SECL may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the program without refund, subject to applicable law.
  20. The decisions of SECL Management and the Selection Committee regarding selection, discipline, eligibility, and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall be final and binding, subject to applicable law. SECL reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions whenever necessary.

Important Notice for All SECL Players

If any player creates any personal group, such as on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform, without prior permission from SECL and uses it to share misleading, false, or unauthorized information related to SECL, strict disciplinary action will be taken.

Such activities are considered a violation of SECL rules and regulations. The player who creates or manages such a group, as well as all players who knowingly participate in or promote misleading information through that group, may be immediately disqualified from the Star Eleven Cricket League (SECL), subject to applicable law and SECL's disciplinary procedures.

Players are advised to rely only on SECL's official communication channels for authentic updates and information.
